The Strategy

Become an “authorized user” on an already existing and established credit card account (aka tradeline) with a solid payment history.  You don’t do this to use the credit card.  Instead, the idea is to “inherit” the account’s payment history into your credit file.

How It Works

1. Search the Inventory

Choose from dozens of established credit cards from Chase, Discover, Barclays, etc, all verified by the owners’ Credit Sesame accounts.

2. Buy a Tradeline

Verify your identity (Photo ID and SSN) and submit payment 100% online.

3. Owner Adds You As a User

Tradeline Supply Co guarantees the new tradeline history will post to your credit report during the next reporting period.

I purchased a tradeline because I had a very new credit history – about 4 months. It hit my account in less than 20 days and boosted my score over 100 points. I was LITERALLY ASTONISHED. Thanks guys! Highly recommend!

* All score improvements are estimates and will vary by individual.  We recently ran a nationwide survey on professional credit repair.  48% of respondents who stuck with their credit repair company for at least 6 months saw a 100+ point credit score increase.  See study.

** Our official stance is not to buy a tradeline as a credit improvement tool.  But we can say our experience with tradelines.  Mark added authorized user tradelines to his credit as part of his well-documented Journey to a 700 credit score.  He attributes 50-100 points to the authorized user strategy.  Chris started out with a much higher credit score, but got added to a long-established Southwest Airlines card and saw his score boost 30 points.  Lastly, we ran a nationwide study on the effect of being added as an authorized user to a card and found good statistical proof that it makes a positive impact on credit score.
